About me
My research investigates how mental health is experienced, measured and supported - most often with a focus on young people. I am a Chartered Psychologist (British Psychological Society), with an increasing interest in how technology is changing the way we connect.

In 2019 I was awarded a Vice Chancellor's Fellowship from the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute to launch a portfolio of research into young peoples' mental health.

I am Co-Chair for the Worldwide Universities Network's Student Mental Health Working Group, and I have previously been an Academic Advisor for the Alan Turing Institute, the British Psychological Society and Mind.

As an artist I play with a variety of approaches including digital art, charcoal, glass and live performance. In 2021 I was appointed as a trustee on the board of directors for the arts charity MAYK.
